Our Language Courses

The Union Language Centre delivers high-quality language courses, in Polish, German, English and (new for 2012) Mandarin Chinese.

We work on a one-to-one basis, or in small groups, to provide individuals, business people, public sector workers and university students with tailored language training.

A range of course lengths and types are available including one, two or three week courses, business language courses, language and activity holidays, Cambridge certificate and A level/GCSE courses. We will create customised courses for your specific requirements.

Course levels range from programmes for complete beginners, and those who have a basic understanding (post beginners), through to intermediate level and advanced conversation.

The centre is situated in Northumberland, within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.

Between sessions, students can explore the beautiful coastline and local attractions, including Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne (Holy Island), Alnwick Castle and Gardens.
